Portrait 201B is a black ink portrait drawing by Italian artist Dario Moschetta. Volume and tonal depth build entirely through mark-making — stippling across the cheeks and forehead, directional crosshatching along the jaw and neck. Light and shadow emerge through density rather than blending, giving the face a sculptural weight without a single continuous contour line. The lower half breaks into a field of undulating parallel stripes, creating a controlled contrast between the organic presence of the portrait and the abstraction beneath it.
