Youth Side

Ink portrait drawing for sale: Youth Side

Youth Side is an original ink portrait drawing for sale. I made it in 2020. The work shows a young female figure in profile. Confident linework defines the face, and subtle hatching builds the tone. As a result, the drawing captures the calm strength and quiet focus of youth. It is a quiet portrait that works well in a home, a studio or an office.

Linework, hatching and white space

This drawing combines technical discipline and expressive minimalism. First, I set the profile with clean, precise ink strokes. Then I add cross-hatching to shape light and depth. Because of this, the rhythm of the lines carries the whole image. In addition, the clean white background keeps the focus on the form. The result feels elegant, contemporary and timeless. It is a study of presence and simplicity.

Original work: material, size and authenticity

The drawing is pencil and ink on 240 gsm paper. It measures 21 × 29 cm and ships unframed. It is a one-of-a-kind original, not a print. I sign it on the back and on the front when I sell it. Moreover, it comes with a certificate of authenticity. I pack each drawing securely and ship worldwide. You buy directly from the artist, and no gallery commission is added to the price.
