One painting, made for one person
A commission is not a reproduction and not a variation on request. It is a new original work, painted from the beginning for a specific person, a specific subject and a specific wall.
You describe the subject, the format and the palette of the room. I propose a direction, share the work in progress and deliver a signed original with its certificate of authenticity. Works are held in collections at the St Regis in Rome, Kai’s Songbird in Doha and Torre Velasca in Milan, and have been commissioned by La Perla.

Portraits on canvas
Layered mixed media on canvas. Acrylic, spray and torn paper, built up in stages from a photograph or a live sitting.
Portraits on paper
Ink, sanguine or graphite on heavy paper. Figurative, intimate, ideal as a first acquisition or a gift.
Ancient Beauty
Classical figures and busts reworked in contemporary mixed media. Strong presence in large formats.
Cityscapes
New York, London, Milan. Collage and acrylic on canvas, up to 150 x 180 cm and beyond on request.

Most of my originals sell once and never come back. If you found a piece marked as sold, tell me which one. I can create a new work in the same series, same technique and same spirit, in the format that fits your wall.

Deposit
50 percent to start. Bank transfer or card. The balance is due only when you approve the finished work.

Photos of the work in progress at the key stages. One round of adjustments is included.
Delivery
Signed original, certificate of authenticity, tracked worldwide shipping included in the price.

The last line is the only option that is not a unique original. It is a large format museum quality print, signed and numbered by hand, produced from a work of your choice in the archive. Everything above it is painted from the beginning for you.

Before you write
Can I commission a work based on a piece that is already sold
Yes, and it is the most common request. The new work will share series, technique and spirit, but it will be a new original. I do not produce copies of works already in a collection, out of respect for the collector who owns the first one.
How long does a commission take
Four to six weeks from the deposit for most formats. Large canvases above 150 cm can take up to eight weeks. If you have a fixed date, tell me in the first email and I will confirm before you pay anything.
Can I send a photo of the person I want portrayed
Yes. My portraits are not photographic likenesses, they are interpretations built in layers. Send two or three photos in good light and I will tell you honestly whether the subject suits my language.
What happens if I do not like the result
One round of adjustments is included after the studio updates. If the finished work is still not right for you, the deposit covers the work made and you are under no obligation to complete the purchase.
Do you ship worldwide
Yes. Tracked and insured shipping is included in the price, to any country. Canvases travel rolled or stretched depending on format and destination. Works on paper travel flat.
Do you work with interior designers and hotels
Yes. Trade projects, multiple works and site specific series are handled on the dedicated page for art for hospitality and interiors.
