Portrait 423 – Silent Glow

Contemporary female portrait for sale: Portrait 423, Silent Glow

Contemporary female portrait for sale “Portrait 423, Silent Glow” shows a woman who looks straight at the viewer. Her dark hair is pulled back, and the background stays light and almost empty.

The skin shifts from warm reddish tones on one side of the face to pale, almost white tones on the other. Brush marks blur the edges of the face. In addition, scratchy light areas give the surface a rough texture. As a result, the face seems to glow and dissolve at the same time.

The steady gaze and the soft edges give the work its title, Silent Glow. The mood is calm and intimate. Consequently, the portrait works well as a single focal point on a wall.

This painting belongs to the ongoing portrait research of Italian contemporary artist Dario Moschetta. His work explores the expressive possibilities of the human face. It suits private collectors, and it also fits interiors such as a living room, an office or a hospitality space. Moreover, the original comes directly from the artist, so you can ask questions before you buy.
