Francis Bacon inspired portrait

Mixed media on canvas, 60 x 80 cm.

This Francis Bacon inspired mixed media portrait is a personal tribute to the fragmented essence of Bacon’s portraits. The subject appears split, distorted and blurred. It stays suspended between clarity and disintegration. As a result, the painting becomes an expressive reflection on perception and emotional identity.

“Francis Bacon 2” is an original mixed media portrait available exclusively at dariomoschetta.com. The painting combines acrylic, pastels, spray paint and stencil on canvas. Its layered textures and fractured perspective echo the psychological tension of Bacon’s work. At the same time, they add a contemporary, digital age distortion. Each brushstroke adds motion and fragmentation, so the viewer looks closer and asks: what is seen, and what is felt?

The portrait suits collectors of contemporary figurative art with emotional depth. Moreover, it works as a statement piece in modern interiors and curated personal collections.
