Black spiral abstract painting | Abstract express 803

Black spiral abstract painting, 70 x 70 cm

This black spiral abstract painting is an original mixed media work by Dario Moschetta. “Abstract express 803” shows two coiling spirals of broad black strokes on a white ground. White streaks show through the brush marks. As a result, the surface feels rough, fast and full of movement.

Texture and technique

The materials include acrylic, oil, pastels, spray paint, stencil work and glue on canvas. The black strokes carry white streaks inside them. Moreover, the gallery shows close-ups of the strokes and the work on a wall. Therefore, you can judge the texture and the scale before you buy.

Where this black spiral abstract painting fits

The square format, 70 x 70 cm, suits a living room wall, a space above a console or an office. Because the palette is black and white, it pairs with many interiors. Also, it adds strong contrast to a wall of colorful art. A square piece like this also looks balanced on a narrow wall.

Original artwork, signed and ready to hang

This is an original artwork, and Dario Moschetta signs it on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist. Moreover, the canvas ships stretched on a wooden frame 1 inch deep, so it is ready to hang. The painting is sold unframed. Then, it travels in a sturdy cardboard box with bubble wrap. UPS ships it by courier from Italy. Within Europe, delivery takes 3 to 5 working days. For shipments outside the EU, allow 5 to 7 extra working days for customs documents. Finally, you buy directly from the artist, with no gallery in between.
