Portrait 407

Female figurative portrait painting: Portrait 407

Female figurative portrait painting “Portrait 407” shows a woman with long black hair, light eyes and soft pink lips. She looks up and slightly away from the viewer, against a pale grey-green background.

The face carries soft skin tones in pink and beige. The hair breaks into loose black strokes, and a streak of pink and white runs through it. In addition, thin drawn lines cross the neck and shoulder. As a result, the portrait feels precise in the face and free at the edges.

Her gaze turns away from the viewer, so the mood stays quiet. You do not meet a direct stare. Instead, you slow down and look at the details of the face, the hair and the light.

This painting belongs to the ongoing portrait research of Italian contemporary artist Dario Moschetta. His work explores the expressive possibilities of the human face. It suits private collectors, and it also fits interiors such as a living room, an office or a hospitality space. Moreover, the original comes directly from the artist, so you can ask questions before you buy.
