Portrait 428

Contemporary figurative painting: Portrait 428

Contemporary figurative painting “Portrait 428” shows a woman with long golden hair swept across her face. She looks up and to the side, against a soft blue-grey background.

The hair is painted with fast, wide strokes in gold, brown and cream. The face, by contrast, stays soft and delicate. In addition, the paint stays thin in some areas, so the warm skin tones show through. As a result, the image feels full of movement and calm at the same time.

The pose is soft and relaxed, and her gaze looks dreamy and intense. Because of this, the painting invites you to stay with it for a while.

This painting belongs to the ongoing portrait research of Italian contemporary artist Dario Moschetta. His work explores the expressive possibilities of the human face. It suits private collectors, and it also fits interiors such as a living room, an office or a hospitality space. Moreover, the original comes directly from the artist, so you can ask questions before you buy.
